Security systems and electronic systems integration specialists

Integrated Systems for Security, Management, and Control

What is integration, anyway? It is a "combining" or a bringing together of elements of or technology or systems to form a whole, to incorporate or unite these into a larger unit. In security, this could be as simple as [ Example ] combining into a system one element that will give you sight and one that will give you two-way sound - a tv picture from a security camera looking at a door or entrance, with an intercom that provides for listening and talking to someone at that door. Add an electric or electronic remote door/lock release and you combine with another. This simple concept of integration can be expanded and made more complex, but that is the essence of integration. The features and benefits of integrating systems, depending upon your needs and applications, can deliver efficiencies in time-saving and cost-savings that are boggling.

What do we integrate, and how?

We use our experience, knowledge, and expertise to "bring everything together", first by having a thorough understanding of the broad range of security systems that exist to provide detection, control, reporting, etc. We match this with our knowledge of our clients or customers, and the expressed needs they bring to us. We help a client to plan, and we offer suggestions and pathways that they might not have thought of or explored. Using computers, networks, LANs and WANs, telephone systems, and a myriad of security equipment (cameras, motion detectors, readers, card systems or biometrics, etc.), all the power of integration goes to work for our clients.

Example:  Multiple locations, integration

Take an organization with multiple locations. For the sake of this example there is a main or headquarters operation and either 5 branches or satellite locations. The benefits of integration can multiply exponentially. Instead of each branch having all their own types of security equipment, access control, alarm system, employee data bases, phone systems, not only is it now possible to standardize (this has its own efficiencies and benefits, regardless), but it is possible to truly integrate many different functions. Systems do not encompass one facility, but all of them. Communication of both voice and video and data go back and forth, as needed and designed, in real time. The telephone system encompasses all. Instead of 6 employee databases, one. Instead of 6 access control systems operating independently, one. Calling someone in another facility is like calling someone down the hall. Walls come down. Blocks are eliminated. And on top of all of this, each branch has local access to information and data, but all can be fed back to one centralized location, gathering data on all aspects of operations. It is nothing short of an information, time-saving, money-saving, headache saving, bonanza. As one of our multiple location clients said, "I feel like I've hit the jackpot. I'm thrilled to see what is happening." Enough said.

Benefits Accelerate

Once you start down this road of integration, you may find you want to accelerate, push that gas pedal to the floor, because suddenly, clearly, business is changed, improved, controlled, like never before. And these are but a few examples. One thing leads to another and then to another, and before you know it, improvements start to snowball and you wonder how you ever managed it all before. Please explore these features and benefits - talk to us about real solutions and how you can win.
